Headlam Hall Golf July 2020

Hello everyone it’s been good to see so many of you back playing and enjoying golf after lockdown.  Many new members have joined the club and I would like to personally wish them a very warm welcome and hope they enjoy meeting current members as well as enjoy the golf at Headlam Hall.

I am sure that you will all be aware that lockdown has been a difficult time for people and businesses alike and getting back to any kind of normality is going to take much longer than any of us envisaged.

As some of you may have heard on the grapevine I have decided to retire towards the end of the year and I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for making my time at Headlam Hall so enjoyable, it has without doubt had its challenges but has also been an amazing place to work and end my career.

I feel that I have achieved a lot during my time here and have enjoyed building up the golf club to what is now a successful and growing concern, this couldn’t have happened without the support of The Robinson’s and the members so thank you for helping me to achieve this.

I feel very lucky that I have been able to end my career in a dream job working with amazing people but I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life and would now like to reinstate my amateur status and start playing golf rather than teaching it.

I am giving everyone as much notice as possible to allow a smooth transition and would like to remind you all that if you still have credit you need to spend it  before I leave and also book in and take any prepaid lessons.

Take care and good luck with your golf everyone and I am sure I will bump into you on the other side of the fence at some point in the future.
